Advice on framing:
Buying a print straight from the artist means you can have the frame and mount of your choice.  I recommend using a professional framer.  For the best presentation, I would advise double mounts and a simple frame – oak or grey stained wood are good but you can choose a frame to match the room where the piece is to be hung if you prefer.

I follow an approach that draws directly on the teachings of the great surrealist, Cecil Collins:  The drawings arise as a spontaneous and rapid response to the movements and poses of the models, who are in turn responding to music.  There’s a kind of magic that happens when I am touched by the beauty and feeling in the form before me.

The marks that appear, however unconventional, speak of life.

The implements and media I use are primitive and tactile – from my hands in watery clay to bamboo sticks, chalks, sponges and feathers dipped in Chinese or walnut ink; even the occasional brush!  There is no time to think. There is no goal.  There is just the moment, the movement and the marks that arise in response.

Unfortunately, the original drawings will not retain their vibrancy for long, so they are digitally scanned and printed using high quality Giclée inkjet technology on Hahnemühle paper, resulting in a limited edition of 25 archive quality prints of each that will be alive and give pleasure for many decades to come.

Each signed print comes with a certificate of authenticity.  This is not mass production.  There will never be more than 25 of each, so your investment is protected.
