‘Art & Soul’ Exhibition 2018 - Review

Art & Soul’ Exhibition 2018

A record number of visitors!

If you were among the almost 800 visitors that came to the event, thank you for your support. If you missed it, you missed a treat! Whilst Lynn and I always feel a bit jaded by the end of our Open Studio show, the conversations with visitors always enthuse us to do it all over again next year!

Parasol by Richard Cresswell

Winner of your favourite artwork in the exhibition

Thanks to all those who voted. Many found it difficult to choose but Richard Cresswell with his Parasol sculpture ended up with twice as many votes as the nearest. The parasols spin with the slightest breeze. This lovely piece now has a new home just down the road.

Most sales of an individual piece
Sandpipers by Simon Hempsell

This accolade went to Simon Hempsell for his pair of steel Sandpipers that proved very popular as were his stalks of cow parsley

Next year?

We are planning to stage 'Art & Soul' again as part of Surrey Artists Open Studios in the first two or three weeks of June 2019. You will receive an email with your personal invitation before the event.

Meanwhile...

Some of my work will be on show at RHS Wisley in August/September and at Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington in November as part of Surrey Sculpture Society's exhibition programme. See my Events page for details.
